The Mauritius Open Air Festival 2025 will take place at Barnet Playing Fields, London, EN5 2DA.
We encourage all attendees to use public transport for easy access to the festival. The nearest stations are High Barnet Underground Station (Northern Line) and New Barnet Rail Station. The following bus routes also serve the area: 34, 107, 234, 263, 307, 326, 384, and 389.
There are limited paid parking spaces, which must be booked in advance. No additional parking will be available on the day. Strict parking restrictions will be in place in the surrounding area, and vehicles parked illegally may be subject to fines or towing. We strongly recommend using public transport to avoid inconvenience.
The festival runs from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with last entry strictly at 6:30 pm
There is a strict no re-entry policy. Once you enter the festival grounds, you cannot leave and return later.
There are no minimum age requirements; however, attendees under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
To purchase alcohol or gain entry where age verification is required, you must provide valid proof of age. Accepted forms of ID include a UK driving licence, a valid UK passport, or any official proof of age card displaying the PASS hologram.
Yes, there will be a variety of food vendors offering authentic Mauritian cuisine as well as international food options. Licensed bars will also be available. Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for baby food, formula, and food for children with allergies, which will need to be checked by security staff upon entry.
Yes, VIP tickets are available for purchase. VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive access to premium areas, dedicated seating, and additional benefits such as private bars and VIP-only food stalls. Please note that VIP tickets are limited, and VIP areas will have specific security restrictions for the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
VIP ticket holders will also have access to a dedicated VIP entry lane for faster entry into the festival.
No, there will be no cash machines on-site. Most vendors accept both cash and card payments, but we recommend bringing cash just in case.
No, pets are not allowed, except for assistance dogs.
For the safety of all attendees, a strict “No Search, No Entry” policy is in place. Please expect a thorough and strict search upon entry, including bag checks, as a condition of admission. In these times of heightened security, we appreciate your cooperation to ensure a safe and enjoyable event.
The following items are strictly prohibited at the festival: weapons and bladed implements of any kind, fireworks, pyrotechnics, flares, drones, laser pointers, and large umbrellas or parasols such as golf umbrellas. Pressurised gas canisters and legal highs are strictly prohibited—anyone found with these will have them confiscated and may be refused entry. Illegal substances will not be tolerated, and strict enforcement will be in place. Glass containers of any size, including perfume bottles and cosmetic jars, are not allowed. Large bags and backpacks are prohibited, and only small bags will be permitted. Gazebos, tables, and non-picnic chairs are not allowed. Animals, except for assistance dogs, will not be permitted.
No liquids, gels, or lotions over 100ml are allowed, including soft drinks and water in sealed containers. Any non-compliant items will be disposed of by security staff. Sun cream over 100ml will not be permitted. Makeup and perfume under 100ml must be in plastic or paper containers.
Exceptions will be made for food for newborns, infants, and toddlers, but these will be verified at entry. Prescribed medication and medically required food are allowed if accompanied by a doctor’s note or valid medical certificate.
